We can’t get enough of Harry Potter here at Retro Styler HQ, that’s why I have come up with these 5 important lessons the franchise taught us.
It’s Okay to Ask Others For Help
Even though Harry Potter tried to fight a lot of battles alone, he soon came to realise that asking for help is not a sign of weakness.
Money Isn’t Everything
Despite inheriting a vault of gold from his parents, Harry soon learnt that no amount of money or goods could replace his loss. The franchise undoubtedly taught us to make the most of the family and friends which surround us.
Face Up to Your Fears
In order to get where we want to be, we have no other choice but to face up to our fears. You might not have to follow the spiders like poor Ron, but be sure to do something which pushes you out of your comfort zone once in a while!
Bravery Appears in Many Forms
Take a leaf out of Hermione’s book and stand up for what you believe in! Being brave might not mean taking on Voldemort in the real world, but little acts of kindness and bravery make the world of difference to yourself and those around you.
People Might Surprise You
Make sure you allow yourself to be available for others and never judge a book by it’s cover. We all have busy lives, but taking time out and going out your way to help someone else will make everyone’s lives that little bit easier.

We have waited literally decades for the Top Gun sequel and now there are reports that filming begins this summer following the official announcement last year…
According to Digital Spy, the film could not simply just be a remake of the beloved original because of the differences in the Navy.
Rumored director Joseph Kosinski goes on to explain that “it’s just a different world now, so you can’t just remake the original, it must adapt“.
He also teased fans, promising us that there will be a lot fast-paced action, which makes you feel like you’re right there, in the fighter jet!
Set to explore Maverick’s role in the modern military, the Top Gun sequel is due to hit the cinemas in July, 2019.
